Yes, you are correct - they have the same scientific name, so I guess they are the same.

Missed on the Almendro - it is Dipteryx panamensis http://www.fincaleola.com/almendro1.htm

But I am sure it would be fun to climb - if you like heights! It is an emergant. (200 feet)

That is going to be one SRT accent of about 150 feet before the first limb.

Cebo is the favority tree of the monkeys that I have seen - that and Ojoches. Perhaps I should take a clue from them? :)

A climbing party would be fun - as long as someone comes as a trainer for me!

Maybe you can schedule a get together, that would give me something to shoot for. Heck I already made it to New Jersey, Costa Rica is just a few miles south of there.
