Climbing in NY

hey all,

My name is Alan, I live in NJ, not far from the GWB, and would like to get into tree climbing. I've taken canyoneering courses, and have familiarity with equipment and knots, but can't get to Utah all that often. Besides, after reading \"The Wild Trees\" I'm become pretty obsessed with the idea of tree climbing.

I run a large outdoors club and would like to get some friends involved too. Would anyone be interested in taking out a few people and showing us the ropes? Are there any local professional courses?
Or just me on an informal basis is fine too...
