Made my 1st "real" climb the other day, around 60 feet. Used a yoyo type system with a figure 8 instead of a grigri. Wasn't real happy with the way the eight held when I sat back in the harness. I found this method on youtube. I also had plent of safety aside from my asscender, used some prusiks as well. Any ideas or should I break down and get a grigri. I have a Texas rig, but got to get my cordination down. Ha!
