Can anyone remember how to tie an emergency harness from a climbing rope. Was asked earlier and just can't remember it's been so long. Thanks Kev

You could use several different double loop knots like the spanish bowline or bowline on a bight. Either would make the two leg loops. You could add a half hitch or french bowline around the chest. Alternately a fireman's chair knot tied in the middle of a line would allow you to lower someone with one end of the rope and control the descent with the other end.

Thats an interesting image ands looks complicated. I'm sure it was the Bowline on a bight but it was remembering which loops to put my legs in. Have you got an image to resemble this a t all?
