As a result of increased sales volumes, John Watson Landscape Illumination is seeking reliable and experienced tree climbers (entire crew and or crew chief for that matter) for immediate hire in order to increase the size of its workforce.
Skills in rope and saddle tree climbing techniques are required. Having worked as an apprentice or journeyman electrician or having installed landscape lighting is preferred, but not required. Preference for candidates with valid driver's license.
Willingness to travel out of town 50% of time (typically 2 weeks in DFW and 2 weeks out of town). We have vans stationed in key locations around the country and fly crews into those cities. All travel expenses paid including location based stipend for meals.
Hourly pay rate is based upon experience; however, experienced climbers can make $48,000-$53,000. Those willing to travel more have the greatest income potential.
