As profound as a tree quote...

Can anyone tell me who/where the \"Profound as a tree; not me, but a seed indeed, and more so yearly\" quote is from originally. I've tried to Google it, and it just keeps coming back to TCI.

I'd like to use it, but I'd also like to give credit where credit is due.

Sorry for taking so long to reply about my signature line. The quote is an original, to the best of my knowledge.

When I joined TCI, I was inspired by the integrity of treeclimbers, manifested in many ways, but evidenced principally by their overt respect for trees and things natural. For the insights they've continued to build in me, I feel I've come to know where to stand. As often as possible, it is with them, and among the benevolent trees.

You're welcome to use the quote without limitation, so long as you, rightfully, credit the forest.

So it would seem to be more about trees than "Not About Trees"...
