The Davey Tree Expert Company has opportunities in the field of Utility Line Clearance as a Groundman for major electric utility operations in the Woodstock, Vermont area. Davey is a leader in the tree care, utility line clearing and forestry consulting industries throughout the US and Canada.
POSITION: Groundman - Line Clearance to provide support for the other crew members.
WHAT WE OFFER:

DUTTIES:
• Provides support for the other crew members by controlling lowering ropes, limbs and persons from aloft
• Supplying tools for tree workers
• Controlling road and sidewalk traffic as needed by use of warning devices and other methods
• Cutting, chipping and loading brush and wood and proper job site cleanup
QUALIFICATIONS:
• MUST have at least 1-2 years of
• Driver’s license REQUIRED. CDL a major plus!
• Must be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work tasks such as cold, heat, rain, sun, snow.
