Not only is tree climbing not just for kids anymore, even those with special personal challenges can go aloft. To share the experience of a novice climbing overcoming their fears as they gain altitude is a great joy for both the student and the teacher.

The joy is magnified when anyone with challenges leaves the binds of gravity behind. Plus you will never find a more welcoming place than when you climb with other recreational tree climbers. In our group we have schools that can rig systems for just about anyone regardless of challenge.
Each year for the past 9 years we have held gatherings where climbers from all over the world can meet and greet and climb and laugh together. This year it is in Jacksonville, FL on November 9th to 13th at the Marywood Conference center along the Saint Johns River. Friday night our advisory group will present the next year’s outline followed by a social both Friday and Saturday nights.

Many vendors have been very generous and thousands of dollars of gear with be shared via auction. Classes will be held for novices and instructors both. Come join the fun either this year or tour the site and find schools in your area. Time stands still when you are in the canopy.
