I'm an American researcher for NHK Japan Broadcasting Corporation seeking information for our documentary project “World Tallest Tree.”

We are trying to find if there are any individuals who are looking for tallest trees in the US today?

We are also trying to find Michael W. Taylor and Chris Atkins. I saw that Michael posted here and I messaged him.

AND we're interested in all the details of the international tree climbing championship. I'd love to hear from anyone with information on any of this.

NHK public TV is similar to the BBC in the UK, their documentaries are very popular in Japan and used to widely educate the public about cutting edge information.

You've gone to the right source for tall trees by attempting to contact Michael.

For the ITCC you need to contact people in the pro-arborist world. Tom Dunlap posts in this forum he might be able to point you in the right direction.

You might also take a look at the Eastern Native Tree Society web site for contacts, they are doing a lot of tall tree exploration and measuring in the United States.
