How to become a rec tree climbing instructor?

Hi - I've wanted to learn tree climbing for more than a decade and finally signed up for my first basic week. I have lofty ambitions, though, and would like to work towards becoming a recreational instructor.

Would love some expert advice on:
- which courses I should take (and where)
- techniques I'll need to know
- how many hours I'll need to log
- certifications I'll need to pass
- what else I'll need to know (e.g. first aid)
- any other suggestions...

I'm also wondering if there are any apprenticeship opportunities available anywhere?
