New organization?

I've been hearing rumblings of a new organization being formed. I've heard it referred to as the IOTC. Anyone else heard anything? My understanding was it was hatched at the Colorado Rendezvous and is supposed to accomplish...what? What will a new organization accomplish that the current ones cannot/are not? Are we already so divided that we need another organization to meet some unmet demands/needs?

Hello Dr Rod, Since I was one of those excluded from the \"discussion\" I am not able to report on any issues covered at the closed door meeting(?)of the IOTC. I am not considered worthy of participating on those high level issues since I am not a \"Trainer\" or \"Certified Something\" or have a tree climbing school.

most of us went there to climb trees, see the mountains, EAT, laugh, learn to splice a rope (love Nick) and climb trees.

DID I say we climbed trees. OH YA - there was a fire and drum music and We ALSO climbed trees.

OH well maybe we talked in those trees also, more laughs then talk.

what is IOTC mean - Internet Oblivious, technically challenged? BECAUSE if that is what is is - sure I talked about that, that being my middle name.


SO next time there is a tree climbing conference maybe you can be there and put your ear to any closed door and listen

Well, I am a \"Certified Something\" (facilitator and instructor) and even though I wasn't in Colorado, I would hope that someone would have replied with something. No one's even responding to other inquiries on other boards. Maybe we should just all assume the worst and hope that all climber's interests are being looked out for by the enlightened ones who know what's best for us.
