Being the Daily News they had to include the reporter's comment about the harness digging into his groin. Seemed a little off color compared to the rest of the article. I wonder what saddle he was using? Couldn't have been New Tribes

It was a New Tribe. Most likely a large.
The reporter however was well built. Definitely a strong fellow.
As you can see, it was a snug fit even while standing.

Aha! So it was a New Tribe saddle Looking at the photo it appears that his leg support pads are set too high, could be the cause of his discomfort.
