Rope for bare hand climbing was created by bhardwaj
Hi,

I want to build upper body strength with a straight rope climb using bare hands. This will be a single rope hanging from a thick tree branch in my garden about 5 meters high from the ground.

Which rope and what diameter should I use that would provide excellent grip and can tolerate outdoor weather in the United Kingdom (rains a lot here)?

Many thanks in advance.

Get a half-inch diameter "safety blue" rope by New England ropes. (It's white.) Don't leave it hanging in the tree; it will degrade in wet weather and get cut up by squirrels.
