I used to get NIGHTline Throwline from Sherril Tree
NIGHTline Throwline 2.5mm 200ft 4 12.95 NGH3-200**

but apparently they no longer carry it.

TreeStuff has something they call Blackline -
is this comparable ? Has anybody used it ? it looks more like regular thin throwline whereas the Nightline is comparatively stout

I like to leave a tag line in trees around my house, sometimes for 6 months or longer, and I really liked the Nighthline, but now they don't carry it any longer.

I like to use the 3/16" "task rope" from Knot and Rope Supply for long term tag line placements.

OK thanks for this info -

To compare :
http://www.knotandrope.com/ Task Rope 3/16 in = 4.7625 mm @ $ 0.09 / foot (or $0.075/foot if you get a spool of 1000 ft. )

Sherril (discontinued) - Nightline - less than 1/8 in = 2.5 mm = @ $ 0.06475 / foot (200 ft / $12.95)

So it Task Rope is almost 2x the diameter & much more substantial of a line/rope, but also 20-40% more costly.

Anyway thanks for pointing this out, most helpful

Yep, it costs more. I like how easy it is on the hand when you're installing a rope and it is very long wearing, it will eventually be defeated by UV light but it lasts a long time.
