Take a look...when the locking gate version is released they should have lots of uses for tree climbers.

Got 2 of these the other day. Amazing, really incredibly light for 24KN hold and 10KN open gate. Petite too.

Probably the greatest compliment to DMM is, when I showed it to a buddy I work with (not a climber) and told him, "check this out, can you believe how light this is", he remarked "Is this one of those NOT FOR CLIMBING ones?"
