Thanks for the back-link, I missed that the first time around.

On the Vibram webpage i read that they sold out all of the first run. The next production run will be ready this coming winter or spring.

Siping is something that's been done to tires to increase traction. Small slits are cut to make lots of tiny edges that open up when the tire/shoe sole is flexed.

I'd like to get some but would rather have them made from a less flashy color. My feet aren't that good looking :)

They're available in different colors...black/grey being one of the color combos.

I wore them for a few hours a few days in a row...I didn't like them much, but it was INSIDE that I was wearing them, not out in the soft grass or sand.

Honestly, I think it'd hurt to climb in them. They do look funky, though!
