archery bows for line setting was created by 3climbr

Does anyone have experience setting lines with bows-cross, compound or recurve?
I'm curious to learn what type of bows work the best in Coast Redwood and Giant Sequoia.

I think what is being used is a 75 pound compound bow. Recurves don't work too well and cross bows are not easy to adjust for power as they have a preset notch on the pull.
