Big Shooting with the Big Shot

What stuff should I use to maximize the heights I can reach with the Big Shot?

I don't want to use monofilament clear, plastic fishing line. Is there a better option?

What I am considering is two things. Spiderwire makes a braided fishing line with a breaking strength of like 60lbs. It's a small diameter line made of Spectra. I think this might be good.

I know there are also lines for high-end kite flying that might be good for this.

I was thinking that if I use one of these lines with a home-made 4oz bag, I might be able to get some really high shots.

I know that one of the Spiderwire fishing lines is impregnated with Teflon. That might make it more slick.

I imagine I'd have to shoot with the spiderwire, haul up the throwline, then use that to haul up the climbing line.

Another way to increase height and accuracy is to use a trigger release of some sort. This allows the shooter to hold the BS and aim without jiggling around.

My trigger is the one that Sherrill sells. If I didn't have that I would be using an arrow release for a compound bow. They are a really clever mechanism.

My haul-back mechanism is a double whip tackle. The cord is attached to the base of the pole. Then a friction hitch is tied using some flat throwline. The trigger shackle is tied to the friction hitch and the cord is threaded through the eye on the shackle so its used as a slack tender in the same way as the lanyard on the small dees.

When I shoot I hold the BS on my shoulder like a shotgun. This gains me anotherfive plus feet of height.
