Lookn 4 fellow climber in VA and to get certified

HI,
My gf and I are looking to pratice climbing with a fellow tree climber and to get certified in Virginia Beach VA and surrounding areas. She has 4 years in landscaping and is currently wanting to get certified for a profession. I on the other hand would like to learn for a new skill/trade to learn. Please reply if anyone has any useful information.
