Climbing in Pittsburgh was created by jaimeo
Is anyone climbing trees in Pittsburgh? Apparently there is no “TCI-certified” instructors in Pittsburgh, but I found some posted messages from 2004 from several individuals asking for climbers in Pittsburgh or vicinity. I took the liberty to compile their email addresses from various posted messages within this site.
I am interested in climbing trees, but never done it.
Thanks
Jaime

Pittsburgh is a frequent climb area for me.

I'll send my cell phone number via u2u.

Jamie O and other PA climbers,
I took the TCI Basic Tree Climbing Course in the north Philly area last spring. Most of my climbs are solo but I would be interested in climbing with other experienced tree climbers. (sorry, but, I don't feel comfortable showing first time climbers how to ascend)

Also are there any trained facilitators out here? I would like to learn rescue. I have taken my son up a couple of times but I am always thinking.. "What if......"
