i don't know if you can make this out?

"This lone, wind-blasted hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna) in the wilds of Argyll is one of the few known "wishing trees" in Scotland. Its entire surface area is encrusted with coins that have been pressed into the thin bark by numerous travellers over the centuries, presumably in the hope that their wishes will come true. A magical tree in every sense of the word and a living connection with the ancient folklore and customs of Scotland."
