This is going to be an awesome SRT workshop, the instructors are excellent climbers, really know all of the ins and outs/top to bottom of SRT technique for tree climbing. The workshop is open to beginners - advanced climbers and recreational or work climbers. Course will cover all the basics as well as the latest innovations in SRT tree climbing tools and practices. Participants should come away from the workshop with a practical understanding of SRT techniques and safety protocols.

The New England ISA chapter is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a two-day Single Rope Technique (SRT) workshop, May 4-5, 2013 at Blithewold Mansion in Bristol RI.

There are two learning tracks available.

Option 1 covers both days; one day of introduction and overview to SRT and one day of hands-on instruction, in which participants will be able to ascend and work a tree using SRT. Participants will recieve TCIA's Best Practices for SRT manual. There are 30 spots available. Cost for the two day worshop is $275.

Option 2 covers the first day only, which will be introduction/overview of SRT. Cost for this option is $125.
Workshop will commence at 9am and conclude at 4pm.
Coffee and muffins will be provided both mornings. Participants must provide their own lunch.

Registration is due by April 24th. If there are not enough participants, the workshop will not be held. A cancellation notification will be issued 10 days prior to the event.
