My harness consists of:

Harness
Lanyard
Two slings with biners
Small first aid kit

None of these pieces are individuals, they're part of a whole.

Ok, what is in the first aid kit? I'd vote for;

Roll of white tape
bandaids of several sizes
tube of Neosporin

I keep a couple of sizes of adhesive bandages, a small roll of sterile gauze, white cloth tape, 2 4X4 gauze pads, 2 2X2 gauze pads, insect bite relief swabs, tweezers, triple antibiotic ointment, Benedryl tabs, and a couple of alcohol wipes.

Sounds like a lot, I know, but it all packs into a little zipper pouch about the size of a compact digital camera. If you or anyone you know is allergic to bee stings, it wouldn't be a bad idea to pack an epi-pen in there too.

Tweezers? Don't think I'd want cloth tape. Maybe add a bottle of Visine?

Edit- Oh you want cloth tape because it can be torn by hand.

I like the cloth tape because the adhesive is waterproof. It lasts a lot longer than that paper crap too. Ever try to splint a finger with paper tape? Bend the finger once, and the tape tears. For all it matters, you can use duct tape. Tape isn't sterile or anything. The (pointed) tweezers are for splinters.

Visine isn't a bad idea, but it freezes in the winter.

I wonder if you could warm the bottle in your hand? Maybe bring a small mirror and a few q-tips? I think I'll get more crud in my eyes than splinters in my hands.
