I just saw Simple Green at Sam's Club.

Of course at Sam's, it only comes in 55 gallon drums. :D

I think I'm too much of a sap, uh-uh, I mean have too much sap on my lanyard and rope to simply climb it off.
I'd rather the simple green solution.

Safe climbin.

I just returned today from the Washateria and would like to tell all, that Simple Green works FANTASTIC! in removing Pine Pitch from rope. I didn't even have to massage the rope first with anything else. I poured the concentrate on the worse areas of pitch, put the rope in a front load washer, added S.G. to the washer and that was it.
My rope looks good as new!

Safe climbin.

Cool! Thanks for the report Charlie. I'll try that the next time I get banyan or breadfruit sap all over me and my ropes.
