Peter and I went down to the Founder's Grove this afternoon to ask Nimrod, our esteemed white oak friend, to help do the honors of picking the TCI membership drive raffle winners. Peter climbed up and dumped from a helmet all the names of the new TCI members (except his and mine, of course, too bad for us!). Whoever's names were closest to the base won one of the two "Bit Shot" kits donated by WT Sherrill.
Don Stanford's name (aka BlakesHitch)was touching the trunk, and Nick Araya's (aka NickfromWI) was about an inch and a half away. There's somethin' about you guys that Nimrod especially liked today.

We're happy for both of you, and hope you'll share your adventures with your new toys with the tree climbing community that visits this Board.

During the facilitators course I conked Nimrod in the head a few times with throw bags. Maybe he thinks I need something to improve my accuracy.
