This site contains recommendations from the UK arborists. Just a word of caution, when the author states traditional practice, he means the old way of doing things, not the current. Reading through the article will clarify that point....Actually the correct article fails to appear with this link....I'm using a cached Google website....Apparently, the orginating website has changed the article.....not that this is important to the reader, but I want to locate the orginal article which was very good...This notation is a reference for me...
