For non-climbers, this course is your prerequisite to being able to climb trees with us at the 2013 Tree Climbers Rendezvous. It is the standard TCI BTCC (doubled-rope technique). However, it's also an unusual opportunity. Once you learn basic tree climbing techniques and safety in this class, you'll have unlimited possibilities to climb with the many experienced tree climbers who will be coming to the Rendezvous, should you want to attend that as well. Tree climbers are very generous in sharing what they know with "newbies"!
