A few websites ago (the First) one of our star posters shared a pretty and useful hitch illustration for moving around with a length of tie in (I used 20 feet). It is a climbing hitch tied to the D-ring of your dominant hand. I know it was a variant of the klemheist connected to the D-ring. So just pull to take up slack and then set. In all of 3 inches of smaller cord around the tie in on the D -larger D's where better. Used it and changed (read:sold) equipment. I wish to see it again.

HELLO
I'm Bob. I've been around since before the 2008 thing.(Thank You my Benefactor)
Been awhile since I've posted, I've been working for AT&T for a while now installing U-verse. Now I have to hang my own drops. Just was certified to climb poles with Gaffs. woo hoo! (No small exclamation point available but I lost 10 pounds this week!).
As well, there is another Tree Climber of Knowledge here teaching at this school in Nashville for AT&T -Jonathan J. He gets around the Tree circuit. Also teaches pole climbing but I hear his classes are -Strong; Like Bull!
