Knots for DRT foot loop was created by Patrick
Does anyone have experience using a Klemheist or a Hedden instead of a Prusik to tie a foot loop?

I have gotten into using a Bachman knot. It is easy to tie and move after unloading. Basically, clip a non-locking biner to your cord loop, and wrap the cord around and through the biner. It's just like a prussik, although it's easier to tie. The biner may look like a handle, but don't pull on it expecting it to hold weight, because it will slip.

It would be reasonable to descend on a prussik if you were doing drt, right?

I'm talking in a double rope system, like when people put a blakes hitch on. Instead, you could put a prussik there, and descend on that. I wouldn't descend on JUST a prussik if I was dangling from a single line or a line that was doubled over, yet niether end of the line was attached to me. Then I use the Munter.
