Hi... from monterey peninsula in california ! was created by dryad

i grew up climbing california coastal live oaks and monterey pines. when i get around them i occasionally still climb the oaks but they are pretty stressed right now and it makes me so sad. .. . anyway, i am not a climber with ropes but more of a recreational philosophical type of tree climber... you know, climb up, find a good spot... hang out. feel the wind blow. listen to the quiet. be in the treetops. it's nice.

so i see people don't actually come in here and talk alot but i will once in a while because i have this affinity for trees... (sometimes i see a tree and i really want to go over and hug it ..seriously.. but i am too self conscious lol)

...but when no one is looking...

anyway... happy treeing.

Hi Dryad,
Welcome to the Forums. Recreational tree climbers come in all stripes, among them those who climb with ropes and those who don't. It sounds like you love and appreciate trees and the peace they bring you when you're in the canopy. You're in good company here. Thanks for posting!
