I just found out about this. A big meteor shower is headed our way. If you have never seen a meteor shower from the treetops, now is your chance.

I'm familiar with the Quadrantid meteor shower. It is a very small event, with a very small window of opportunity compared to the Perseids. The peak this year was on January 3. By the 8th, the shower will be all but over.
