Easy Installation
This cambium saver lives on my main climbing line. Its low profile makes it very easy to set from the ground or retrieve to change your TIP when aloft. Mine needed retaping at the ends and is losing its plastic in the middle but after six months of daily use it has more than paid for itself in the damage that my rope and my trees did not recieve. The only difficulty I had was when I got some pine sap in it it wouldn't stay in the crotch for a day until the sap wore off.
Silky smooth
This a a beautiful rope to climb with. It is soft and supple and the Hi-vy really glows on a sunny day. For footlocking it is low strech for efficiency, large enough for hand/foot gripping, and wears in well. For working I use a HRC Vt or Distel hitch on it. This is my daily rope with a small spliced eye and a House sleeve around it.
Withstands abuse
I feel naked without this cap on. The adjustability and comfort are top notch. It has sustained four years of daily use with only recently showing some small hairline cracks at the visor. The visor is a must to curb the suns rays from your nose... branches too. Mine is equipped with the black husqvarna ear protection.
Quick to put on and comfortable for the long haul
This was my first modern work saddle after using heavy sliding dee types. I was amazed at how comfortable it was for how light it is. The first bridge was worn out in a season but the newly designed replacement seems to be more durable. My drawbacks were the poor accessory attachment points and the flop of the bridge when footlocking(it would be great to have a stationary attachment point at the waist). My selling points are the comfort and the quick buckles on the waist and legs.
