THE throw bag
This little thow bag is the bees knees. It just has the right feel about it. The design and shape means it is more likely to slide around large branches on the way down. Nifty little loop on the bottom has various uses and I am sure some uses that I have't discovered yet!
Given a choice I would go for a Harrison Rocket every time.
My favorite throw bag by a loong shot!
The day that I lost my original Harrison Rocket was sad :( From the very first toss I knew that there would be no going back to using any other throwbag.
Quantifying why the Harrison Rocket throws better is a bit of a mystery. The smaller ring on top seems to keep the bag balanced just a bit better. The tight pouch and stitching at the top make the bag just a bit more firm than any other bag.
The durability of the Harrison Rocket is second to none. None of the stitching or material has ever been defective. The only damage that I've see is from the bag hitting the street or a sharp object. If that happens I dab on a bit of thick adhesive called The Welder.
The cost of the Harrison Rocket may be higher than other bags but the performance is much higher than any other bag making it a great value.
GET a Rocket
The BEST throwbags in the world! They come from far, far away. This brings their price up a bit. But once you start using this bag, you will quickly forget about the few extra dollars you spent. It is the right firmness to not bounce around the canopy too much. The multicolor design is easier to see than 1 color throwbags. The lead shot is encased in a rubber internal bladder so you never are exposed to lead dust. The internal bladder also minimizes friction between the fill and the outside nylon.
I lost mine a while ago. I dropped it from 80' up in a Sycamore and it landed in the duff, never to be seen again. I'm buying a new one right now!
