Festival "Fun Climbs"

Fun Climb Charlotte 2012What a perfect tree for the annual "Fun Climb" at the
Tree Climbing Competition held by
the Charlotte (North Carolina) Arborists Association.
TCI is often invited to run big "Fun Climbs" at festivals and special events. The International Society of Arboriculture brings us to their Annual Convention Field Days, where hundreds of people climb with us for the first time. We've been with the ISA in Minneapolis, Providence, Chicago, Honolulu, St. Louis, and Portland. In 2012 we put on large climbs at the new Duke Farms Environmental Education Center in New Jersey as well as at the Dunwoody Nature Center near Atlanta.

TCI has friends all over the United States who come to help out. At Duke Farms and in Portland in 2012, there were ten TCI-trained facilitators putting new climbers "on rope" in two very large trees. It was amazing to see so many people "getting high in the treetops" all at once! These events are always very popular and thoroughly enjoyed by all the participants, young and old.
