Great line. OK strength. Nice thickness.

I love this throwing line and wish they had a less visible version of it for stealthy missions.

It is a bulky line at 3mm and is great for trees that have thin skin like Banyans. It definitely has reduced my snags on those trees because it cuts less into the tree than thin lines. That said, we all get snags and this line has broken on me where my slickline would have held firm. It also isn't as smooth as other lines in thick bark trees - that can be solved with heavier weight.

The nice thing is that it is easy to hold onto. I've been cut and burned by thinner lines due to missed shots on a multipitch where this line doesn't seem to do that.

I also love that this line does not get tangled as easily as other lines. My other lines can be a nightmare without a throw cube. One unusual benefit of this line is that it doesn't seem to get as sticky as other lines I have used when sap gets on the line.

That said, 200ft of this line takes up a lot of space in a throw bag or throw cube.

Ok but...

I use my throw line a lot. I ordered a spool of this 6 months ago, and after several dozen uses I have to tell you that if you want durability get the Zing- It. The Neon is ok as long as you don't use any real force to unstick it. And if you do any amount of climbing you will get your line snagged a time or three. Personally I think it's fine for the tame tree I use for facilited events. But I still have issues with it fraying and breaking on me. It's great for using it for preset lines and in canopy pitches. But I will not buy another 1000' spool of it again. Again, it's fine for what it is, but if you want real strength and durrability, get the Zing-It.

great cheap throwline

Great cheap throw line. Tangles less than fling-it and zing-it but does not fly as far. Great for hand throws. Hard to break.

Love it!

I love my target line. It's smooth, supple, flows well, stacks well, ties well, unties well, and most importantly for me, is extremely visible at height. It's thicker than some of the other lines (which I like), but it is very easy to handle and use. I would highly recommend always using gloves of some sort with target line because it can be rough on the hands at speed, but it's my favorite throw line period.
