Does anyone have experiance with this rope and ascenders? I figure it will work reasonably well with the old Gri-Gri; however, I'm specifically interested in the Rig. Since the Rig is more sensitive to diameters than the Gri Gri, and the rope is bigger than the specs allow - have you tried it?
Also, is there any truth to those 'texture' fibers allowing better grip?
Thanks

I do not know anybody that has used this rope. I sure would like to find someone that has some experience with this rope. When I looked it up in one of the catalogs, it said it feels like a half inch rope. They did not describe the ropes diameter. Is it an 11 mm rope? I have no idea what textured fibers feel like. I like the Halloween colors–black and orange.

No direct experience with the mentioned combo here. The weight and price always prevented me from considering Imori rope. It would be nice to read an honest review.
