It's true! And I couldn't be more excited. I LOVE sharing what I know with people.

Mostly, I'd like help building the sylabus. We could have a 3 day rendezvous just on splicing...so how do we narrow it down? What do you want to learn?

I'm interested in the rescue workshop, can never get enough rescue training and practice.

Please add me to the list on Rescue Techniques. And something please on helping new people who are interested in climbing ("Facilitating"??)

With the full moon October 6, a night climb should be excellent.

Is there a schedule available yet? I'd like to make flight arrangements before the prices get too high.

Will all the classes be held at the same time, or will I have the chance to see some of them?

Hi Nick,

Im waiting for a registration form, too.

There is some information about the 'vous

A call to TCMS is in the works.

I'm looking at the schedule and wondering what times to book my flights for. I know I don't need to be there for the Basic Climbing course, but when DO I want to be there? Is there a sort of schedule of events out yet? I see flights for an affordable rate and I'd LOVE to get 'em while they're still affordable!

I'm flying in to Jackson on the 3rd and flying out on the 9th. I'm not taking the basic, just want to be on site day 4-8. I'm sure we'll find plenty to do. Worse case scenario, spend days in a row climbing trees.

I believe there is a grove of water oaks that will be used for "tame" tree climbs and instruction purposes. There will be other kinds of trees too I am sure.

No guarantees, but usually glorious. Mid '50-60's night, 70's-80's days. Perfect time of year to be climbing. Bring binocs. Birds migrating by the mazillions.

I just recieved confirmation...Yale Cordage is going to donate some rope for use to use for our splicing class.

Still bring anything in particular you wanted to splice, but anyone who was thinking about taking the class, but hesitated because they didn't have any extra rope on hand...no more excuses!!!

We'll now have some 16 strand arbo-line, some double braid, some single braid, and hopefully some beeline.
